Why Generac's Q2 2023 report is important for you and all brand dealers.
Back in April, I have refocused my digital agency model and in the process of shifting to a niche-focused agency specializing in generator dealers doing installs and service agreements. As part of our expertise in this area, we are also carefully watching the market and our findings with Generac's Q2 report is in line with what we're seeing in the digital space.
Here are a few key points
Residential product sales decreased by 44% year-over-year
Commercial & industrial product sales, though, grew by 24% year-over-year.
Aaron Jagfeld, Generac CEO said that a “softer consumer environment for home improvement impacted shipments of home standby generators.”
As Generac controls approximately 70% of the US home standby generator market share, it’s safe to say that this trend holds for other brands as well.
Dealer Differentiation is Becoming More Important.
With residential demand tighter than in the past two years, now it’s more important than ever for dealers to stand out from the pack.
With less generator interest, only the strong will survive. Connect with Power Source and make sure you are on the right track. Time to get your own 'generator' sort a speak.
